Recipe: Ultimate Paloma

Love a paloma and it’s simplicity. This recipe uses a couple special ingredients to amplify the depth of the grapefruit flavor — including two of my favorite new finds — Giffard Pamplemousse liqueur and Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. tequila

  • .75 oz. Giffard Pamplemousse

  • .5 oz. fresh lime juice

  • .5 oz. grapefruit juice

  • .25 simple syrup

  • 3 dashes grapefruit bitters (optional)

  • 2 oz. Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit


Instructions:

  1. Place tequila, Pamplemousse, lime juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup and bitters in a shaker with ice and shake.

  2. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.

  3. Top with the sparkling grapefruit.

NOTE: If you don’t want to buy the Pamplemousse…lame :)…but you can leave it out and add another half an ounce of the Sparkling Grapefruit. BUT, the liqueur adds so much more depth of flavor.
