I was tired of putting out the same pita chips with hummus. But didn’t want dry naan. Or crunchy, baked naan. One of the simplest, but most delicious things I have ever made.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package store-bought Naan (I prefer the Stonefire brand)

  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil (can use others such as avocado oil)

  • 2-3 Tbsp Tamari (you will find this next to the soy sauce in your store)

  • Hummus, store-bought

Instructions:

  1. Tear up the Naan into smaller, but good-sized pieces (8-10 pieces per larger piece of naan)

  2. Heat up a Tbsp of oil in a non-stick pan — when heated, place pieces of naan in. Do this in batches so they crisp and don't get soggy.

  3. Be ready to move QUICKLY so they don't burn

  4. "Fry" for 15-20 seconds

  5. Sprinkle Tamari on each piece (don't soak), flip pieces over. Cook for another 20-30 seconds.

  6. Remove and place on a plate to cool

  7. Repeat this as many times as needed

  8. Serve with hummus

NOTE: Make a lot, this WILL go fast.
